As an Assistant Teaching Professor of Entrepreneurship in the College of Business Administration, my primary responsibility was to develop and teach five unique undergraduate entrepreneurship courses over eight semesters, resulting in relevant, high quality instruction for more than 600 students. Other achievements included:- Supporting strategic design and day-to-day operation of the UMSL Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Accelerator, a first-of-its-kind, university-led business accelerator that provided underrepresented founders with $50,000 each in non-dilutive capital each as well as a best-in-class business development program that included access to networks, mentors, subject matter experts, and customized educational support. - Mobilizing 135 volunteers (i.e. guest speakers, mentors, and competition judges) to assist with entrepreneurship instruction and programming.- Leading the search, vetting, and selection of three adjunct faculty and assisting with the search, vetting, and selection of one tenure-track faculty for the Department of Marketing & Entrepreneurship.- Leading a top-to-bottom review of entrepreneurship curriculum at UMSL, mapping learning outcomes and depth of instruction (i.e. introduction to mastery) for each entrepreneurship course as part of the UMSL Curriculum Alignment Process (CAP) and as part of a successful AACSB accreditation of the College of Business Administration (CoBA).

As a Director of UMSL Accelerate, my primary responsibility was the successful launch and implementation of the first cohort of the UMSL Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Accelerator. Major achievements included:- Creating an application pipeline to funnel 437 applicants to six winners using a combination of asynchronous, online questionnaire review and synchronous, virtual pitch review. - Helping secure lead mentors, subject matter experts, and interns for winning founders.- Developing a customized curriculum and program calendar for winning founders.- Identifying key performance indicators (KPIs) and developing procedures for tracking KPIs on an ongoing basis.- Helping design and implement a virtual launch event and a virtual demo day to highlight and support the winning founders and UMSL Accelerate.

As an Adjunct Professor of Entrepreneurship in the College of Arts & Sciences, my primary responsibility was to combine the practical reading, writing and analytical skills of a Liberal Arts education with marketable skills required for success in today's workplace. Major accomplishments included:- Taught 16 students Entrepreneurship and the Liberal Arts (L62 Praxis 286), a three-unit course in the College of Arts & Sciences covering the history, mindset, and practice of entrepreneurship.- Designed, proctored, and graded homework assignments and exams related to course material.- Earned higher course and instructor evaluation scores than school average across all competency metrics reported: learning, organization, enthusiasm, and individual rapport.

Oversaw ~$140,000 annual budget and performed project management duties.- Planned and implemented dozens of groundwater, stormwater, soil, and soil gas sampling projects across the United States. Carried out subsequent data analysis and report creation.- Helped design various water treatment systems, including a dual phase extraction and thermal oxidation system as well as a carbon dioxide groundwater injection system. - Assisted with the design, development, and testing of iPad applications for field data collection, processing, and reporting.

- Developed comprehensive water quality assessment program for rural villages in Sierra Leone.- Personally executed the program onsite, resulting in the survey of 16 villages, the interview of 77 households, and the execution of hundreds of direct water quality measurements.- Presented findings at National Academy of Engineering Grand Challenges Summit in April 2010.
