University of Puget Sound Welcome Center, Tacoma, WA -Project Manager, New admissions and Welcome Center building for the University of Puget Sound. The project is an approx. 14,000sf building including admissions offices, a presentation/event space, gallery, double-height lobby and additional support spaces. The building is the front door to the campus where prospective students will learn about the school and meet for campus tours and conferences with admissions counselors. Completed 2019.A'eo Tower, Honolulu, HI - Ae’o is a 1.2m square foot mixed-used residential tower in Ward Village in the Kaka’ako neighborhood of Honolulu. The residential tower sits atop a seven-story parking and retail podium that includes a flagship Whole Foods Market and additional retail. The 40-story tower includes 466 condo units, from 400sf studios to 1200sf 3-bedroom units and a 7th-floor amenity level. The form of the building, including the podium parking screen façade is influenced by abstracting the flow of the Hawaiian trade winds. Surfaces peel away from the mass of the building and resemble the path of the trade winds or the ocean waves they create. The massing of the slender tower is orientated mauka (mountains) – makai (ocean), allowing views to the ocean from every residence. The massing is further articulated by view windows that peel like waves off the main tower mass. My responsibilities included tower and unit design and layout as well as detailing for the tower window-wall system and features elsewhere in the building from SD-CA. These responsibilities included management of the BIM process as well as coordination with consultants and the architect of record. Completed 2018.Nu Skin Innovation Center, Provo, UT - CD's and Construction Administration for a 151,000sf corporate office and research building, with a fast-paced schedule and fast-track delivery. Completed 2013. LEED Gold Certified.

University Center, Seattle Pacific University - DD & CD's 117,000 sf building complex with space for music, art, theater and classrooms. Including music rehearsal spaces, black box theater, art gallery, practice rooms, and an 1100 seat performance hall. My responsibilities included design and detailing of envelope components including roofing, subgrade waterproofing, masonry and the air/weather barrier systems, as well as coordination with consultants and associate architects. I also managed the team’s use of BIM (Revit) and information exchange (Newforma) for this complex project which integrated four architectural models, as well as mechanical and structural models.East Fraserlands Mixed Use, Vancouver, BC - Schematic design and programming for 340,000 sf mixed use development including 20,000+ sf of retail space and 240 condominums in a midrise city block topped with a 25 story tower. My responsibilities included unit layout and configuration for the mid-rise portion, including much of the exterior expression of that portion of the project.Structural and Materials Engineering Building, University of California San Diego, CA - SD through Bidding for a 185,000 sf, $62 million research lab and office building. My responsibilities included design, detailing, and specification of envelope components including curtainwall, storefront, and shading devices, coordination with consultants and associate architects, and generation of digital models and shading studies. Project completed in 2012. LEED Gold Certified.Epiphany School - Madrona Hall, Seattle, WACD's for 12,000sf private elementary school expansion in Madison Valley. Completed 2010.Chambers Bay Golf Course and North and Central Meadows, University Place, WA -Multiple phases including CA for the Meadows. Completed 2007.Bethany Community Church, Seattle, WASD-CD with some CA for a new 8,000sf Church meeting hall and education center in Seattle's Greenlake neighborhood. Completed 2007.
