Interpret the results of simulated and lab test reports to improve and iterate upon existing designs. •Mitigate safety and performance risks using Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) for both the design, and manufacturing process.•Create and maintain detailed engineering documents and drawings to GD&T Y14.5-2009 standards, as well as issue Engineering Change Orders. Proficient CAD packages used include SolidWorks, Inventor, and AutoCAD.•Manage the testing and certification process for new products to ensure they meet industry standards (UL, NEMA, NSF, etc.).•Lead and participate in Kaizen events/activities to improve existing engineering processes and support lean practices.

For aerospace engineering students at Georgia Tech, our rigorous program culminated in the design of a new aircraft to meet requirements set forth by the faculty. Working in teams, we developed and optimized our aircraft’s major systems, structure, performance and appearance. After a semester of work, we arrived at a working concept which was presented to our professors.
