Senior Network Engineer
Current• Collaborate across teams to design, build, scale, migrate, automate, monitor, fix, and maintain secure high-availability (HA) network environments, including data centers, MPLS networks, hybrid cloud, and remote sites.• Utilize T3 skills to triage, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues across diverse environments and multiple applications. Collaborate with teams to facilitate incident bridges and drive them to resolution, while also providing comprehensive root cause analysis (RCA).• Possess a deep understanding of WAN/LAN technologies, including BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VRFs, route-maps, route redistribution/leaking/filtering/summarization, adjusting routing metrics, TCP/UDP (Wireshark), BGP communities, ACLs, prefix lists, QinQ, VPNs (GRE/IPSEC), HSRP, VPC, port channels, VLANs, trunks, SVIs, QoS, and hardware troubleshooting (cards/chassis, SFPs, T1s, Ethernet, fiber).• Proficient in automation tools and languages, such as Python, Regex, Postman, Cisco EEM, APIs, Yaml, Graphiz, JSONs, Visual Studio Code, GitLab, Infoblox NetMRI, Splunk, Riverbed Alluvio Netim, and Service Now.• Worked with Bulk Electric Systems (BES), including generation (hydro, wind), transport, substations, RTUs, DNP, IP SCADA, and liquid natural gas sites (LNG). Adhered to government security standards from WECC(NERC) and TSA.
