I am an experienced Deputy District Attorney with prosecutorial experience starting in 2014. Currently assigned to a unit that handles sex crimes, child sexual abuse material crimes (aka "child porn"), bias crimes, serious assaults, vehicular assaults, and homicides. I have taken over 70 cases to trial in my career. I commissioned as a Field Artillery Officer in the Oregon Army National Guard in 2011 through the Johns Hopkins Army ROTC program. I have spent most of my career in the 2-218th Field Artillery. I deployed to Qatar with the 218th in 2019-2020. Upon my return I was assigned as a staff officer in the Brigade Fires Cell of the 41st Infantry Brigade Combat Team. Currently I am serving as the senior Fire Support Officer of the 82nd Tactical Support Detachment, a non deployable TDA unit within the 82nd Brigade (Troop Command), Oregon Army National Guard.I began serving on the Board of Directors of the Portland Youth Philharmonic, an all volunteer board, in November of 2020 and assigned to the Governance Committee. I accepted the position of President of the Board and began my one-year term on June 1, 2022. I am also an alumnus of the orchestra and played violin under Music Director Mei Ann Chen from 2003-2007 and toured Taiwan and South Korea in the summer of 2007.
