Air Force Space Command, Peterson AFB

• Managed critical civil engineering projects that support Space and Cyber operations worldwideDuties include:
• Managed $3M immediate recovery response to flood/debris damage at Cheyenne Mountain Air Force Station with follow-on $12M
• Coordinated and oversaw $17M major renovation of electrical, communications, and modular furniture affecting 1670 personnel in the Headquarters Air Force Space Command building with completion 3.5 months early
• Defining the financial strategy/guidance of 21 programs that support civil engineering and security forces throughout Air Force Space Command
• Develop/Executed cost saving initiatives and identify facilities for demolition to consolidate existing facilities/functions at Thule AFB located in Greenland
• Crafted 8 budget proposals to reallocate funding between critical Command programs

380th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron, UAE

• Integrated the design, negotiation, and construction management for 30 construction contracts supporting airfield operations to include runways, utilities, lighting, and support facilitiesDuties included:
• Supervised 28 engineers in planning, programming and design of facilities and infrastructure
• Directed mapping, drafting and surveying in support to 350 facilities with a real property value of $750M
• Briefed senior managers monthly on $50M construction program.
• Developed biannual $20M community master plan to shape future construction
• Lead Construction representative for development of emerging Defense Department requirements

37th Mission Support Group, Lackland AFB

• Executive assistant to senior leader of functions on base supporting the Air Force training missionDuties included:
• Organized and presented to executive leadership the list of construction projects to compete for funding in 2010, valued at $1.2B which was critical to future support and expansion of mission capabilities
• Coordinated and crafted responses to over 500 requests supporting executive leadership
• Conducted 8 high-visibility relocation and consolidation efforts effecting 1,000 personnel and multiple organizations
• Tracked and reviewed personnel evaluations and awards for 4,900+ military/civilian/contractor personnel

37th Civil Engineer Squadron, Lackland AFB

• Lead the Civil Engineering operations section responsible for maintenance of $3.1B in facilities and infrastructure across 9,500 acres in support of training operations with a budget of $73M Duties included:
• Supervised operations for 420 craftsmen/engineers ensuring customers encountered zero impact
• Oversaw and coordinated a $1.1M HVAC upgrade to primary chapel used by incoming recruits
• Advocated and led a $300K project to remove above ground electrical distribution and replaced it with 4K feet of underground distribution lines creating a more efficient and reliable grid
• Directed sweeper operations and spall/sealant repairs to 8M sq yds of airfield pavements supporting 40K flights per year with no impact to operations

325th Civil Engineer Squadron, Tyndall AFB

• Civil Engineer that provided conceptual estimates, designs, and participated in contract negations for 21 projects valued at $5.2M supporting $1.2B worth of infrastructure/facilities supporting aircraft.
• Solicited annual requirements from customers and coordinating with other organizations such as safety, security, and communications
• Construction manager on a $650K Department of Defense communication facility that was critical to homeland defense assets.
• Lead project manager for $2M hospital renovation, negotiated a savings of $713K while maintaining the scope required by the user.
• Conducted damage recovery/assessment in response to hurricane Dennis on 500+ facilities garnering $4M in repair funding
• Diagnosed root problem in $128K mold remediation by addressing flawed storm drainage system

• Lead project manager supporting projects throughout Iraq. Managed contract construction and troop construction of facilities and supporting infrastructure Duties included:
• Lead engineer of design/construction team that oversaw $40M in construction
• Evaluated structural integrity of previously condemned building and provided solution to reopen
• Engineer representative on the base power committee that developed future projects to expand and maximize generator power plants
• Designed expanded munitions storage layout to include lightning protection system
