Researcher on Mixed Reality Aircraft Dent & Buckle Non-Destructive Evaluation DLR project.

- Research exchange with the NLR Aerospace Vehicles Integrity & Lifecycle Support (AVIL) Team on aircraft sustainment, including prognostics and health management and investigating Artificial Intelligence (AI) / Natural Language Processing (NLP) to support aircraft maintenance operations.- Established Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between RMIT University & NLR.

Achievements:- Transformed & streamlined the way engineering report data for Fleet Health Metrics- Developed a low cost PoC for recurring defects and defect prioritisation with a proactive approach- Enhanced engineering defect management in the Operational Performance Program- Technical lead on stair enhancement project, implementing PowerBI reporting root cause analysis- Lean Research & Development of aircraft access methods and optimal stair safety design- Feature Technical Presenter at annual Jetstar Safety Conference- Digital Developer for Port Leadership Team daily Dashboard and metric reporting

Completed an industry research project for innovative Light Truck tyre testing and development, while working with an internationally diverse team. Developed new research knowledge of tyre loading and inflation pressures for On-/Off-Road conditions. This supported the development of new Light Truck On-/Off-Road testing methods challenging conventional testing methods and improving tyre versatility, and interoperability with central tyre inflation pressure systems.

Research Student achievements:- DMTC (Defence Materials Technology Centre) supported research and design of IoT (‘Internet of Things’) solutions for serving data from telemetry systems in machinery to ‘cloud’ and on-site data centres for analysis and control

Vacation Student achievements:- Contributed to the development, operation and assembly of a rudimentary PLC cooling unit- Implemented a new casting quality check process to identify flashing and porosity defects
