● Program-level IA: designed and implemented a new program structure for the Communication undergraduate major based on competitive research, user interviews, program-wide course outcomes assessments, enrollment analytics, changing user needs, changing stakeholder needs, and changing institutional goals.● Department website: completed full redesign through a research process of information mapping, user interviews, comparative analysis of peer institutions, navigation analytics, and content audits. This design was adopted as the model for all other department websites across the college.● Internal IA: led a revision of department operating procedures to produce transparent, equitable, and inclusive data collection, organization, and assessment of faculty responsibilities and productivity. ● Product development: implemented a new hybrid learning experience in collaboration with the National Center for Academic Transformation and USF Media Innovation Team to create a learning model that improved student performance with both higher enrollments and for lower costs.● Subject matter expertise (IA and UX): conducted original research resulting in book-length theory of human communication in terms of place (geographies and architectures of meanings) and movement (wayfinding, open systems, creativity, and emotion); conducted ongoing extensive research on visual communication, mediated information landscapes, and phenomenology of human experience.● Product development: developed courses, learning strategy, and assessments for 13 unique courses (including public memory, visual culture, globalization & democracy, persuasion, space & place, relationships, young adult literature, philosophy of communication, performance art, and persuasion. Delivered 80+ courses to 7600+ students.
