I provide analytic support for contracts with federal agencies, including the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ). I also supervise junior analysts. Current projects include the 2018 National Impact Assessment of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Quality Measures Report, and the 2017 AHRQ Healthcare Quality and Disparities Report. I previously contributed to an evaluation of the Partnership for Patients (PfP or P4P) program, a major CMS-sponsored initiative to rapidly improve patient safety in US hospitals.

Led cleaning and analysis of national survey of primary care offices on health information technology (HIT) adoption and use. Contributed to multiple research projects on topics ranging from minority use of asthma controller medications to quality improvement in chronic kidney disease detection and treatment. Collaborated with clinical and research faculty and support staff. Presented research findings to diverse audiences and prepared manuscripts for publication.
