Regional Sales Manager
CurrentGrow regional territory. Hire, train and develop national territory sales managers. Responsible for driving sales via Territory Sales Managers, setting up and attending Trade Shows to demo current and new products while working jointly with AutoZone. ● Improved existing training program for sales reps that was previously taking 2 weeks to conduct. Adapted new training schedules for reps that entailed manager spending 3 days in field with rep and only 1 week in training class. Reps were able to ramp up faster and hit quota more quickly. Also reduced cost to company.● Turned around multiple failing sales teams by focusing on hiring right people, training on product knowledge, sales skills and efficient activity. Eliminated the underperforming reps. Team was top-performing team within 6 months.● Project managed new product and helped product development team with product launch. Organized team of inside and outside sales rep to beta test product with customers. Identified best way to market product to customers while creating interest within client base.● Organized multiple tradeshows to showcase current and new products. Coordinated necessary items including booth design and setup and arranged for necessary staff to be in attendance. Gave multiple presentations to small and large groups to demonstrate various products. Resulted in many single and large multi-site sales.● Attended multiple ASA/ASE Chapter business meetings to develop relationships with local business owners. Share knowledge of current market and how products can address everyday issues that customers face. Team’s success can be partially attributed to attending these meetings which resulted in multiple sales.
