Profile bio

About Michael Nelson

I have spent the last twenty-five years working in government and the private sector to accelerate the development, deployment, and application of Internet technologies. A large part of my job has always been explaining Internet technology and applications in clear, concise, non-technical terms to decision-makers in government and the corporate sector and to the press and the general public. I believe that the main barriers to Digital Transformation are not technological, they are cultural and political, so it is imperative that a broad cross-section of society--in the US and worldwide--understand and appreciate the opportunities offered by the Internet and emerging technologies.Specialties: Next Generation Internet technologies and the Cloud of Things; IT policy and cyber-politics; vision

Listed skills include Strategy, Cloud Computing, Government, Program Management, and 10 others.
