RemixCS is a student-led organization which aims to expand the outreach of computer science in the larger Houston area, specifically for those who are part of underrepresented populations within CS- Instructed Python to a group of 7 Houston ISD 8-12th graders during weekly small-group lessons

- Developed Python scripts integrated with an app-specific script language to automate data visualization processes for electron microscope data, resulting in a 97.5% reduction in processing time- Implemented a team-tailored work management system webpage to improve workflow efficiency- Created statistical analysis tools using Spotfire which fetch data from the aforementioned work management system to facilitate accurate calculation of management by objectives (MBO) bonuses for a team of employees

Aiden Lab's computational sector is developing software to visualize and analyze the 3D structure of DNA through the use of genomic contact data, making use of machine learning and deep learning- Developed a parallelized pipeline in Java for analyzing 3D DNA, processing billions of data points efficiently- Explored recent academic publications on genomic folding to develop and implement optimal algorithms- Wrote tutorials about using the super computing cluster to facilitate future intern onboarding
