I am also responsible for delivering strategic, high-level client consulting and participating in management policy making. I joined Marx Layne in 2006 as an account executive, having previously served as a project manager for a local nonprofit organization.

Coordinated community outreach activities and fundraising events while also responsible for marketing and communications campaigns, media relations, public speaking engagements and program budget development. Certified HIV counselor with the Michigan Department of Community Health, providing pre- and post-test HIV antibody counseling and risk reduction strategies.

Managed and retained HMO business in large and small group employers, consisting of more than 17,000 members and generating premium revenue in excess of $30 million dollars annually. Negotiated renewal premiums and M Plan positioning within employer groups through brokers, consultants, human resources and financial officers. Engaged employer groups, employees and other key stakeholders through formal presentations while serving as primary contact between business groups and insurance provider.
