As a brand new venue in a highly competitive market, the feel and look of BBCo's Brewery and Bar needed to be right from the beginning. While the designers nailed the fit-out, it was up to me to develop an exciting drinks menu. Beverage options needed to exemplify our love of good beer, but also include top quality cider, wine and spirit options. I was also responsible for making the back of house operations, work seamlessly with front of house. This required the full build up of the POS system. Along with the normal everyday duties of managing a busy bar.

Working under Prof Jon Olley, I was involved in a variety of projects monitoring fluvial erosion in South East Queensland catchments. This involved placing sediment sampling devices in stream beds across a variety of catchments, Surveying of Brisbane Rivers channel profile to map changes after 2011 floods. Mapping and description of delta formation in Lake Baroon creek deltas, using a mix recently acquired digital data and digitization of historical data.
