I was a change manager supporting the rapid deployment of a new platform and process for the management of Technology projects. The change impact was across a population of over 3000 Technology employees in Australia, India, Singapore and New Zealand. This was a great opportunity to work with a small, dedicated team of professionals to deliver a significant change across a wide large population in a compressed period of time. This was a time when the Technology Division was experiencing substantial change and transformation. This role required extensive stakeholder management and influencing skills and demanded a high degree of learning agility to build a solid understanding of how this large and complex Technology division operates.

This role was a great opportunity for me to stretch my consulting and change management expertise. The focus of the role was on enhancing productivity and performance within operational functions. This was an exciting and challenging role, which required me to introduce process and procedure changes in a compressed period of time. My success with Reveal’s clients was based around my change management and management coaching skills and my ability to quickly analyse and assess the client’s operations.

As a Program Director I worked within the bank’s Technology division during a time of significant change and transformation. My responsibilities were on leading programs designed to uplift capability and execution. A major focus during this period was on the development of leadership capability across the Technology Division. This was a unique role that provided great variety and an opportunity to work on change and transformation initiatives across the whole Technology Division. I particularly enjoyed opportunities to facilitate strategy and business planning sessions for leadership teams and developed an expertise in working with new teams or teams that were facing particularly challenging circumstances

Between October 2004 and June 2005 I worked for the NAB Group CIO in a strategy development role. This was a great exposure to strategy development at the highest level and provided me with experience of managing to the expectations of the bank’s board. This skill required me to demonstrate strong internal consulting capabilities and demanded a strong focus on managing stakeholders.

My role as Senior Product Manger was to focus on the development of new payments products to support the growth of ecommerce and the emerging opportunities for Internet and mobile payments. This required a large measure of entrepreneurial and influence skills to drive new ideas and forward and gain support for product ideas that were often unique. This was an exciting role that provided me with great opportunities to work closely with sales teams and to build trusted partnerships with external technology suppliers
