My role as CEO and Managing Director was to establish a strategic direction for the organisation, managing the vision, mission and key objectives and team to build a profitable business. I developed and subsequently communicated our mission to our team, constantly communicating a clear and consistent message in order to meet our objectives. I managed business planning and forecasting in line with our company strategy, constantly reviewing operations, sales and financials. I managed the strategic operational requirements of the business to support the achievement of strategic goals and communicated these to the executive team and directors. A key component of my role was to lead the business, continually reviewing and implementing improvements through process and procedural changes in quality, service and operating costs reducing costs, improving efficiency and increasing profitability. Super Fusion is a successful financial services business, including superannuation, retirement planning, self management superannuation funds, investment plans and direct property investment. As the managing director for Super Fusion I am responsible for overseeing the day to day operations across the business, to ensure that the company is achieving all of its strategic objectives and goals. With the overall objective of increasing shareholder value I drive operational efficiencies, manage process improvement and strive to optimise sales. This includes fund management, investments and financial planning I provide leadership, mentoring and guidance to my team ensuring that our actions are in line with our strategic objectives. This includes analysing and establishing outcomes based on our strategic requirements. I’m actively involved in engaging with and providing recommendations to key internal stakeholders and senior management on any issues, change or implementation strategies for the business.I thrive on managing of resources to suit business and clients needs and allocation of activities according to project management plans and ensuring the best outcome for this business. This Executive management role was managing a team of 15, for the company which had in excess of 150 million dollars of funds under administration. My role was to grow the business from start up to a large to midsized organisation, looking after all of the operations, sales, finances and partnerships. I worked closely with the senior management team in developing the vision, leadership, strategic planning and input into the review, coordination, and implementation of the company’s strategic initiatives. I held the ultimate responsibility for providing legal advice to the board on corporate and operational business matters and legal and compliance advice to the audit and compliance committee as required. I thrived on offering regular coaching session for sales teams in order to increase productivity and motivation and build confidence to work autonomously, mentoring the team as well as addressing individual training requirements. My leadership and direction to teams ensured they understood and were accountable for developing, mentoring and coaching to ensure technical capability, motivation and performance. I toured nationally running presentations and seminars for the community to beat the mortgage trap across Australia. I was successful at building financial planning business, with Full Unrestricted Dealers license, from nothing to a high end successful business with 450 clients in 6 years. I set up Australia revolving line of credit from non deductible debt to deductible debt, presented to government anf the ATO and it is now known as the redraw facility that you see across Australia today. I was appointed to the Board of Rothchild Premier Advisers.

Working closely with key stakeholders in the organisation, it has been my role to develop the strategies and systems that have facilitated significantly improved financial management.Integral to this role has been enlisting the trust and respect of a team of experienced professionals, and working with them to successfully drive the organisations vision and mission with a concentrated effort towards the company’s goals.Working with my partner, this role was responsible for building the business, improving the sales, efficiency of operations, implementing new products and services and managing HR, Sales and Finance. Key to my success in this role was my strategic and lateral thinking skills, and ability to closely liaise with key internal and external stakeholders.
