With many years of animal husbandry and environmental education experience, I am a highly motivated and progress-focused worker. I have a positive track record caring for and maintaining animals, as well as top-notch skills in the as an environmental educator.Through paid and volunteer opportunities, I have experience working with many different species of animals. I take pride in caring for my personal collection of snakes, frogs, and salamanders throughout my life. I recently performed as an aquarist at the Catalina Island Marine Institute. Here, I cared for saltwater fish, sharks, and invertebrates. Currently a animal Behaviorist and Trainer working with Dolphins Pilot whales, two towed sloths and an Asian small-clawed otter.I earned my Master Herpetologist Certification (online) from the Amphibian Foundation in Atlanta, Georgia. Also, I built a good report with employees at the Fox Valley Wildlife Rescue in Illinois as an Animal Handling Volunteer, aiding in the rehabilitation of 4,000 birds, mammals, and reptiles for release back into the wild. As an Educator with 10 years of experience, I have proven to be effective and collaborative with strong public speaking talents. In my current position I deliver daily educational and entertaining dolphin presentations to guests numbering from 200 - 1000 people. My career path has and will be focused on helping people better understand the natural world and find enthusiasm for it. I live with a passion for wild life and connecting people to it.
