I took a “bottom up” and “top down” approach and eliminated barriers by: • Empowering teachers to seize classroom ownership• Implementing policies improving teacher-parent communication• Introducing engaging programmingThe results? Disciplinary actions decreased 25%, and test scores increased from 55% passing in math/English to 80%.
