• Command, Control, Communications, Computer, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR), to include Systems Requirements, Operational Requirements, Test & Evaluation, and Training for Defense Distribution Depot – Kuwait and Southwest Asia (DDKS) facilities in the State of Kuwait and the State of Bahrain. • Includes modification of complex software programs and/or hardware to enhance C4ISR supported systems, to include software Design, Development, and System Test and Evaluation. • Other experience include: Hardware, software and system integration and testing, Database development, Web page design, Computer Based Training, development and using Integrated Development Environment tools, SQL Server 2000, and HTML editor tools. • Tasked to commission VSAT and terrestrial links between DDKS facilities.• Maintained/supported the different network access for DDKS clients – commercial, SSL-VPN, NIPRNET, and SIPRNET.• Coordinated with third-party DoD contractors in the delivery of IT solutions for DDKS.• Security included IAVA, Retina, SRR (Security Readiness Review Scripts), and Gold Disk for Windows systems. • The position called for daily monitoring and maintenance of Windows Server 2003 File and Print servers, physical Domain Controllers (CATT system), and an EMC SAN hosting VMWare ESX server 4.1, VMWare Virtual Center and the VMWare infrastructure’s multiple virtual servers.• Further system administration duties included setting up and maintaining DDKS Active Directory Infrastructure (security and distribution group accounts, and user accounts) AD OU planning, troubleshooting external interface connectivity, training, and communication with local users as routine duties.
