Supervised litigation initiatives, dispute resolution, legal employment matters and corporate M&A transactions, including acquisition of a substantial ownership interest in Sage Hospitality Group, a leading hotel management company. Lead in-house attorney and senior legal team member responsible for US and international mergers and acquisitions, transactions, public and private land use approvals, development, and water matters for Vail Resorts, the leading operator of mountain resorts in the United States. Managed legal and real estate acquisitions for half of Vail Resorts’ mountain portfolio, including Park City Mountain Resort, Canyons, Kirkwood Mountain Resort, Northstar California, Afton Alps and Mt. Brighton. Negotiated and maintained key relationships with third party real estate developers operating at the company’s mountain resorts.

Represented prominent developers, insurance companies, and investment funds in large commercial real estate transactions including the acquisition, sale, construction financing and work-out of office, retail, hotel, mixed-use and casino properties.
