I’m a respectful government relations, public affairs and sustainability professional with more than 25 years strategic and operational experience in executive government and external affairs. I’ve sat at many sides of the table - as a senior government advisor and chief of staff (9 years), strategic corporate advisor (5 years), in-house government technical authority (12 years) and active community participant (30 + years).In Arrow, I led the integrated and disciplined government, public policy and sustainable development functions while also managing diverse multimillion-dollar multi-party contracts. I did this with a strong focus on local content and outcomes, against an international business backdrop – and always under rigid internal and transparent external governance.I’ve delivered for elected leaders, chief executive officers and boards spanning diverse industries and individuals wanting a fair go for their families and communities. I’ve negotiated with stakeholders of many backgrounds - from public administrators, politicians, business owners and journalists; people like myself and people who definitely aren’t - sometimes winning and sometimes losing but always learning.I’ve led multidisciplinary teams for most of my career, developing individuals by sharing my knowledge, experience and networks, and growing from theirs.
