Veterans Come 1st, Inc. is a non-profit corporation that operates exclusively for educational and charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code or the corresponding section of any future Federal tax code. Veterans Come 1st, Inc.’s primary mission is to empower Veterans by providing outreach, counseling, and advocacy for veterans and their families unable to assist themselves.

I worked with children, adults, families, and couples in various capacities. The Robinson-Kyles Counseling and Testing Services facility provided experience conducting individual, couples, and family counseling. I used various assessment measures to designate specific learning disabilities, mental health disabilities, and personality concerns. I also met with teachers and school counselors to institute a plan for success for children.Supporting military families affected by military service requirements; anxiety, complex trauma, and emotional dysregulation. I assisted families of color centered around grief associated with various traumas, oppressions, and social justice issues. I use an Emotionally Focused Therapeutic approach that leads individuals, couples, and families toward strategies that promote the awareness, acceptance, regulation, and transformation of emotions to strengthen and create new meaning.

• Created and maintained threat assessment and incident response procedures• Conducted ongoing ‘hunting’ for threats and actively participates in IT security incident investigationefforts• Conduct in-depth analysis of security threat information gained from multiple sources• Perform triage evaluation of identified ‘events of interest’ and identify if a security incident or falsepositive• Categorize the type of incident and assist with prioritizing the level of response• Maintain threat and incident investigation tools and procedures• Lead or participate in security incident investigation including the operating system and network forensics and malware analysis• Complete incident reporting, participate in lessons learned, filing of evidence, metrics. • Oversee and coordinate security efforts across the company, including information technology,communications and Cyber Security• Devise policies and procedures regarding areas such as business continuity planning, loss prevention, fraud prevention, and privacy• Analyze and repair any issues associated with our Dell servers, Windows Operating Systems, VMware and Cisco hardware devices• Perform duties as a healthcare Privacy Officer to ensure policies and procedures relating to (cyber) privacy and security are developed and implemented for the organization's hardware, software, and telecommunications systems• Oversee safeguarding of intellectual property and computer systems• Create global security policy, standards, guidelines, and procedures to ensure ongoing maintenance of security• Perform system Log review and analysis• Develop and perform company Information Assurance and Cyber Security briefings and training
