I currently serve as the Director of Strategic Partnerships and Mathematics teacher for Gravitas: A Global Extension of the Stony Brook School. Prior to working here, I was a mathematics teacher at Santiago Christian School (SCS) in Santiago, Dominican Republic for three years. While there I taught grades 7-12 and topics including AP Calculus AB, and Personal Finance. Before working at SCS, I worked at a private boarding school in Pennsylvania for five years. Having attended boarding school in high school, I find the holistic approach to education one of the best forms. I have taught several subjects of Mathematics such as Geometry, Calculus, Integrated Math and Personal Finance. I have also served on several committees such as the Work Equity Task Force, Diversity and Inclusion Task Force, and Faculty Council. In 2018, I earned one of the L. George Slade '42 Faculty Excellence Prizes.
