After receiving these disclosures, our analysis included extensive market research on market sizing, industry growth rate, ease of product implementation, product margins, comprehensive intellectual property/publication searches, ability to patent, and patent strength.Following our analysis, we aided University of Iowa faculty whom requested support with their inventions or new ventures in the process of commercialization. Working closely with these individuals, we developed a business model, go-to-market strategy, and 3-year financial projections to create a complete business plan.

Duties of a resident assistant included providing resources for students when prompted with any questions/concerns as well as being a role model and disciplinary figure when necessary. Planning events for residents and constantly improving resident relations was a continuous goal as well as establishing a cohesive and effective community in the Residence Halls.
