I began my career as a Computer Instructor in a company in São Paulo, Brazil. After a year and a half, WRC Studio offered me an opportunity to work in post-production and video editing. I spent approximately two years there, working on VFX, creating opening titles, and producing TV ads. In 2005, I embarked on a one-year course in Cinema and Animation, where I gained comprehensive knowledge of the 3D project pipeline, but decided to specialize in animation.Upon completing the course, I created my first demo reel, which gained recognition and earned a prominent place on various internet platforms. Subsequently, I joined Casablanca Animation as a character animator, where I crafted another compelling demo reel that once again gained front-page visibility. In 2008, I relocated to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, to work as a 3D animator at Globo TV. My responsibilities included animating characters for Carnival events, including the virtual reporter Eva Byte. Later, I transitioned to the R&D division at Globo TV, taking on roles as an animator and rigger, where I honed my skills in animating and rigging 3D characters for games.After three years, I journeyed to Paris, France, to further my animation studies at Gobelins. Upon my return, I rejoined the Art department in the sports division, working as an animator and rigger. In this capacity, I had the privilege of creating advertisements and opening titles for sporting events such as soccer and Formula 1.Throughout my time at Globo TV, I earned recognition and awards for my contributions, including three teamwork awards, one for creativity, and three Promax awards, including the 2014 Gold Winner in the Global Excellence Promotion, Marketing & Design Awards, the 2014 Silver Winner in the PromaxBDA Latin America Awards, and the 2012 Gold Winner in the PromaxBDA Design Awards - Global Excellence. These experiences have driven my passion for animation and prepared me to pursue new challenges as a freelance animator while seeking opportunities for growth as a supervisor, lead, and director of animation.In 2022, I began studying film and series directing, specializing in both 2D and 3D animation. A unique aspect of my career is that it doesn't stem from traditional live-action cinema but from the production process itself. This has given me a deep, all-encompassing understanding of every facet of animation and film creation.
