BGCDT started with one club site and expanded to 9 over its first 25 years. Over two years, I led the successful expansion of the organization, culminating in the establishment of 13 club site locations. To achieve this milestone, I engaged in securing funding through grants and private donations, facilitated mutually beneficial agreements with school districts and community partners, recruited and trained additional staff, and meticulously crafted comprehensive operational plans for success.My main objective while employed at BGCDT was to work with strategic partners to expand Boys & Girls Clubs programs into new locations and communities while ensuring all programs were executed successfully. I led a team of 75+ full and part time employees focused on serving at-risk youth through a variety of out of school time programs. I successfully balanced the operational responsibilities of the organization while working with critical financial stakeholders to increase engagement and funding.My extensive leadership and management skills allowed me to successfully guide multiple departments including Youth Programs, Human Resources, Fiscal Management, Grant Compliance, Volunteer Engagement, Site Operations, Safety, and Community Engagement.As COO, I spearheaded an expansion of our youth-serving locations while orchestrating a remarkable revenue surge from $2MM to $5MM. This achievement stemmed from my strategic enhancements to the Child Care Assistance Program and adept acquisition of additional State and Federal Grants, including AmeriCorps.
