In this role I led product marketing and channel marketing to drive demand of the Amazon Ads product suite through agency and technology partners. Globally, we enabled thousands of partners registered to Amazon Ads Partner Network to innovate and serve hundreds of thousands of brands to run successful advertising campaigns via Amazon Ads. In this role I was responsible for the launch of Amazon Ads in Italy in 2013. I introduced Amazon Ads to key brands and media agencies in Italy, drove awareness of Amazon Ads by working with key advertising trade associations including IAB and UPA, and hired and developed a 50+ people team by 2017. Our most exciting challenge was to introduce a new advertising offering positioned at the intersection of e-commerce and advertising.In my role I had the opportunity to manage the overall Amazon Ads business in Italy including launching new ad products across Display and Sponsored Ads; developing our sales strategy and organization; and representing Amazon Ads in local events.Key launches included:- Amazon Advertising Platform (AAP - RTB - 2013)- Amazon Mobile (2014)- AAP Video, AAP Mobile (2015)
