Manager Of Supplier Diversity
Current- Responsible for project level personnel and work directly with the work procurement and project teams to promote and ensure small business inclusion, workforce development and community outreach aimed at delivering both business value and community impact.- Support corporate/ district marketing and work procurement efforts. Assist proposal team in developing and implementing strategies to support inclusion efforts. - Provided consultation to key internal and externals stakeholders on diversity and inclusion best practices, reporting and strategies.- Develop small and local business training and development strategies.- Represent the company at events, including speaking and panel engagements, trade show exhibits, and supplier matchmaking, serving as an external ambassador for the procurement team.- Serve on boards and advisory councils of local, regional, and national advocacy and business organizations.- Coordinate philanthropic efforts including the annual Hensel Phelps Turkey Giveaway, donating 3,300 turkeys throughout Southern California during the week of Thanksgiving.
