At Fey Industries, I work as a Systems Analyst, Software Developer and manage cross-functional process improvement projects.

At Suzlon Rotor Corporation, I supported multiple job functions. I was a Network and Server Administrator working with Windows Server 2003, Exchange Server 2007, Avaya IP Office, SQLServer 2003 and Cisco switches and routers. I also handled Desktop Support issues both user-related software issues as well as hardware issues. I also acted as a software analyst working to define business requirements and develop or purchase software to support those needs. I managed IT-related contracts such as cell phones and copy machine support and had input into the IT budget. Finally, I managed all IT-related purchases. I closely worked on projects with IT in our corporate office in Pune, India and with a sister company in Chicago, IL as well as with other Suzlon offices world-wide.

I held several positions in this company including Software Developer, Application Manager and QA Analyst. I also had the opportunity to take on responsibilities of Business Analyst on a couple projects to help out. We used rapid development methodologies such as SCRUM and Iterative Development on projects. In some cases, we also still used Waterfall type methodologies. As a QA Analyst, I developed Test Strategies and Test Plans for IT projects and lead the test teams consisting of employees and consultants. I also heavliy worked with offshore development teams based in India.
