With a steadfast dedication to academia, my role as a Professor of Sociology and Human Services at Madonna University and a University Intermittent Lecturer at the University of Michigan-Dearborn has been marked by a commitment to student empowerment and program development. Our team's efforts in grant writing and coordination have significantly enhanced educational resources and opportunities within the department.Harnessing over 17 years of experience in higher education, my mission is to foster an environment that encourages scholarly research while offering students a transformative learning experience. At the core of my professional journey lies a passion for applying sociological insights to real-world challenges, thereby enriching the academic and personal growth of those we serve. I additionally have experience as a practitioner of social work and public health. I have a passion for teaching and love to see students grow and achieve their dreams.
