Michelle has primary legal responsibility for Kohler Co.’s mergers, acquisitions, divestiture transactions and corporate governance. Michelle also oversees director appointments, entity rationalization and international trade regulations.

-Strategic legal business partner to corporate development and diversified businesses advising on transactional, contract, governance, investment and M&A matters.-Provides practical, prompt and business-oriented advice for M&A transactions and other strategic initiatives.-Collaborates across all functional areas, and lead and manage transaction teams, including in-house and outside counsel and other advisors, in complex business transactions from inception through closing.-Conduct legal due diligence and risk assessment in merger, acquisition, divestiture, joint venture and minority investment transactions.-Lead corporate governance activities for affiliate entities.
