Responsible for completing and overseeing all tasks that support the overall operations and administration of critical functions across the Debt and Equity Capital Markets teams. The Director of Business Management oversees the pool of Analysts, Associates, and Associate Directors that support Syndicated Finance, High Grade Bonds & Private Placements, Leveraged Finance & High Yield Bonds, Syndicate Sales & Loan Sales & Trading, and Equity Capital Markets. This pooled concept allows the Analysts, Associates, and Associate Directors to have greater opportunities to cross train and support all Debt and Equity products, broadening their skill sets while working with a wider range of senior members of the team across different industries. The Director of Business Management serves as the primary contact for staffing requests across the teams, assigning resources to deal teams to ensure an even distribution of workflow. Additionally, the Director of Business Management maintains all internal reporting for historical tracking purposes, accounting and finance reporting, pipeline management, subscription management, and automating, tracking, and reporting all business activity to simplify workflow and improve efficiencies and accuracy across the teams. Business Management Responsibilities Include:- Accomplishing team objectives by managing the junior resource pool and coordinating department activities- Maintaining a junior resource pool by recruiting, selecting, hiring, orienting, motivating, training, and coaching employees- Accomplishing team results by communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, assessing employee performance, and providing feedback- Delegating responsibilities and overseeing and managing business operations- Accountability for quality and timeliness of work product- Develops, coordinates, and enforces systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards- Maintains knowledge of the Capital Markets products and solutions

Syndicated Finance & Resource Management -Provide execution support in commercial loan structuring, loan origination, and execution of syndicated transactions: corporate, franchise, middle market, and real estate lending. -Coordinate all resource management tasks for the team, including intern program, recruiting, on boarding, training, HR coordination, financial reporting, process and procedure writing and implementation, internal reporting, and invoice review.-Management of both the Huntington Capital Markets summer intern program and analyst training program.
