Students also have a break area where they go when they feel that they emotionally need a break before returning to the class for academic support and instruction. Students also receive both verbal and written feedback on all assignments. Students' work and performance dictates groupings daily to ensure that students are constantly assessed and is being helped in areas in need of support. Teacher also plans and use students' current reading level to plan small group instruction targeted towards literary areas in need of support.
