I collaborate with the OBGYN Chair, Division Directors, physicians and… Show more In this role, I provide administrative management in the Department of OBGYN and the OBGYN Residency Program located at Stamford Hospital (SH) and am responsible for the day-to-day administrative and business operations to ensure that appropriate practices, policies and procedures are in place to drive quality clinical and business outcomes, patient, staff and physician satisfaction, and excellent financial performance. I collaborate with the OBGYN Chair, Division Directors, physicians and staff to develop, implement and measure best practices for the OBGYN residency program and the OBGYN department.Key Responsibilities:Residency Program:• Support residency leadership to meet ACGME requirements.• Oversee compliance with regulatory standards (ACGME, HIPAA, OSHA, etc.).• Coordinate recruitment, documentation, orientation, and site visits.Operations:• Develop and refine processes for efficiency and teamwork.• Manage staffing schedules, payroll, and departmental goals.• Assist with department meetings, policy updates, and quality initiatives.• Collaborate on facility enhancements to optimize workflow.• Provide training, communication, and CME program oversight.Finance:• Optimize non-clinical operations, revenue, and cost management.• Develop and monitor departmental budgets and financial reporting.• Analyze performance metrics, identify trends, and implement corrective actions.• Establishes and/or maintains reporting systems for monies due to hospital and/or physician group resulting from established PSA or employment agreement. Develop reporting for other financial contracts and prepares reports as required and/or requested.
