As a member of the National Interagency Department of the Interior BAER Team, I provide plan coordination and environmental regulatory compliance review for proposed emergency stabilization and rehabilitation measures to protect life, property, and natural and cultural resources post-wildfire.

As Lead Resource Advisor and Fireline Qualified Resource Advisor, I work cooperatively with Incident Management Teams to protect natural and cultural resources during oil spill clean up, fire suppression repair, hazard tree abatement, and other emergencies.

I was the Forest liaison to the Sprague Watershed Fire Learning Network (FLN), an interagency collaborative group led by The Nature Conservancy that developed vegetation and communication strategies to accelerate landscape-scale restoration of fire-adapted forests.
