Assisted local elementary school Mentor Teacher with lesson plans concerning basic concepts in biology, physics, and chemistry. Volunteered in tutoring/mentoring fourth-grade students with science-related classwork. Attended seminars concerning both teaching styles and learning patterns of elementary-age children. Completed culminating project to craft and teach my own lesson plan, created in seminar and based on California elementary education standards.
