Developed, implemented and maintained a database to manage annual sales performance goals for incentive-based compensation.

Analyzed financial statements and commercial credit reports to establish business-to-business credit limits. Performed proactive financial reviews of existing customers, suppliers, business partners and industries in order to identify and respond to assessed risk. Supported a domestic sales force as well as an operating division in Mexico, green-lighting new leads based on an analysis of prospective customers’ long-term financial health. Utilized SQL and VBA skills to develop, test and implement an internal credit scoring model to partially automate credit limit decisions.

Conducted detailed analyses of current and prospective National Account customers, reviewing financial statements, SEC filings, ratings service publications and credit bureau reports to make recommendations to the Director of Corporate Credit regarding credit limits, terms and security arrangements. Performed complex data mining, developing computer-based tools to integrate data from a variety of non-compatible sources and systems. Created a dynamic library of financial reports for internal use. Reviewed retail credit applications, utilizing consumer and commercial credit reports to establish unsecured credit lines of up to $15,000. Assisted management with special projects, including the creation of a database to document and track applicant inquiries and ensure compliance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
