An 8 week outreach program that resulted in 32% reduction in contamination for residential recycling in four communities. Assisted Rubicon Global with creating an App that that brought technology to previously manual process of tracking residential contamination. This App increased efficiency, productivity, and accountability of the entire project. Waste Diversion Team worked with Atlanta Apartment Association, haulers, building owners, and apartment managers to successfully enforce a ten year old ordinance requiring multi-family buildings to offer recycling to their residents. Multi-family recycling reporting increased 200% in six months. *Successfully develop and implement a six week sustainability Ambassador Program to introduce city residents to the basic concepts in sustainability. The result is educating residents about how our daily actions are connected to our environment and fostering behavior change that lessens environmental impact. Concepts include classes on urban gardening, energy, water efficiency and details on how beautification positively impacts communities. Spoke at national and state conferences regarding recovery initiatives and best management practices for waste reduction and recycling including how Rubicon's technology increased reporting and efficiency during the Feet on the Street program.
