This position has responsibility for the Australia, New Zealand, and Pacific Islands (ANZP) area with approximately 45 new hotel projects underway. The Senior Manager IT Design & Openings is initially engaged with a project from about 3 to 4 years prior to hotel opening guiding and approving the design aspects of guest room technology, IT space, and network; working closely with the hotel owners and construction teams. All hotel and business systems (c. $2m) are procured in the opening year and coordinated for installation with the newly recruited operations team and IT Manager in the final months prior to opening. Following the hotel opening the ongoing IT responsibilities are then handed over to the IT Operations team.To date in this position I have coordinated the technology projects for the opening of Element Richmond, Autograph Canberra, Ritz-Carlton Perth, W Melbourne, Courtyard Brisbane, Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Marriott Docklands, Luxury Collection Hobart, Courtyard Flagstaff Gardens, AC Southbank, Fairfield Bali, JW Marriott Auckland, Le Meridien Melbourne, Ritz-Carlton Melbourne, Moxy Sydney Airport, W Sydney, and Four Points Palawan hotels.
