Serving primary tester for a web-based application built in an agile environment, the following include current responsibilities:• Run integration tests for multiple components• Run regression testing during and at the end of each release to verify completeness in all areas • Write automation tests to automate the written manual tests created to validate the website in: - Protractor (Jasmine/Javascript) to create specs and pages - Gherkins in Cucumber and create step definitions and methods in Ruby in RubyMine (UI) and Java (REST services) - Jmeter tests to validate services used by the front end apps; also use Postman• Provide product history and product enhancements ideas during planning phases for feature implementations.• Participate in risk meetings to provide updates and mitigation during the project lifecycle• Responsible for writing test cases for new features and updating for existing features, updating Confluence (Wiki) with QA documentation, and creating test plans for releases• Participate in ‘Three Amigos’ methodologies for Acceptance Criteria and Code completion reviews to confirm solidity of the features being implemented• Act as a point person for updates to the CMS (Content Management System) when additional parts of the Content structure were needed.• Work closely with developers to ensure new issues are investigated as soon as possible; documenting issues with detailed steps to reproduce, users affected by the issue and screenshots for development investigation
