I am currently a Senior majoring in Management Information Systems at the University of Houston C.T. Bauer College of Business. As I continue my education I aspire and am determined to continue not only my personal growth but as well as my professional growth in my career, in hopes of one day giving back to my community. My main motivation for everything that I do, is my community, specifically the latinx/minority community. I wish to help those who are first-generation like myself, in their professional development, to inspire them to continue their education, and that it is possible to succeed as professionals. That being said, I am also an advocate for Diversity and Inclusion within any and all workplaces as well as leadership. Recently I was able to host a project I have been envisioning for years, a Diversity and Inclusion Career Mixer for my university, to showcase its diverse talent. I am also highly involved in the Hispanic Business Student Association, in which I have served as the Corporate Development Director, and with this position, I took part in the professional development of our members, through workshops, corporate events, as well as communicating with our corporate sponsors. With this, I strive to transition our members from today's leaders into tomorrow's executives, porque en esta organización, estamos juntos unidos por un mejor futuro, y juntos nos elevamos.****Because in this organization, we are united together for a better future, and together we rise.
