Responsible for creating new product sales samples and distributing to the sales team. Performed sensory evaluations on potential new raw materials including fruit preparations and toppings. Maintained product development lab by managing inventory of materials and chemicals. setup shelf life samples, tracked their sensory characteristics and relevant measurements (pH, viscosity, etc.) over time, and recorded the results. Completed other duties and tasks as needed.

Provided excellent service to deli customers by giving information on meat safety and quality such as informing customers about proper cooking temperatures and describing the differences between the cuts of beef. Also explained to co-workers why certain procedures had to be followed in the deli in order to maximize the safety of the customers. While not assisting customers, my duties included keeping the deli cases and equipment clean and sanitary.

Waited tables during breakfast, lunch, and dinner service in addition to cooking basic grill and diner food in the resort snack bar. Sometimes companies would hold day-trips to the resort for their employees and I was responsible for catering their lunch and dinner and providing them with a list of the day's activities on the resort.
