In Nov 1990, CGI Paris took over Yourdon, closing R & D; I was offered posts in both the US and UK, choosing to be transferred to London. It became clear CGI had no plans to invest in system development 'methods' at that time so I left the company.

Research into solving the neutron transport equation, using computing facilities at Bristol Polytechnic and UK Atomic Energy Authority (Winfrith); the FORTRAN code devised (CACTUS) was subsequently integrated into the WIMS reactor design software and the geometric tracking algorithm has been used in other codes and research.
