Reporting into the CEO, as Programme Manager for the DSP funded LAES service supporting those furthest from the labour market, I have responsibility for the delivery and support to clients across a number of locations in Dublin and through the support of multi-functional teams.

We educate, support and represent over 10,000 people working in the profession across the island of Ireland, through a suite of qualifications, member services, CPD and a broad range of on-line training and support resources.

Supporting the Executive Director of a Dublin based charity across a number of key business functions:- Gap analysis and risk register linked to GDPR compliance- Production of Standard Operating Procedures for Data Breach and Subject Access Requests- Development of additional Governance and HR processes and procedures- Development of Programme specific Standard Operating Procedures- Policies drawn up required in line with business requirements

Reporting to the CEO and as a member of the Executive Board in Ireland, I had operational and financial accountability for multiple centres across Dublin in the delivery of the ‘JobPath’ contract awarded to Seetec Employment and Skills Ireland (SESI), by the Department of Social Protection (DSP). A first of its kind in Ireland, JobPath is a ‘payment by results’ contract supporting long term unemployed adults into full-time sustainable employment. As one of the original members of the SESI SMT I was involved in the project management, implementation and phased operational roll out of eleven delivery centres across Dublin. Responsibility for centres through nine direct reports and over 150 multi-functional staff across the region. The role included close working relationships with senior members of the DSP JobPath contracting team.

Member of the senior Project Team, a five month contract supporting on the implementation of a new Employability Contract awarded by The Deparment of Employment & Learning in Northern Ireland. My role focussed on engaging and developing relationships with the end to end 3rd party supply chain delivery partners, both pre and post 'go live'. I assumed temporary responsibility for the performance management of the partners prior to the role being filled permanently.

Seconded from TBG Learning, my role involved supporting the development of Rehab JobFit in a number of projects aligned with it's strategy for growth, and which had a direct and indirect operational focus, providing support to operational teams. These included:- Leading on and mobilising a performance improvement project for a specific Work Programme customer group- Leading on sourcing a Supply Chain for the JobPath contract in Ireland- Supporting on mobilising Community Work Placement contract, including engaging with new Supply Chain partners and key local external stakeholders.- Developing relationships with internal and external stakeholders to further position Rehab JobFit in contract locations- Supporting in a number of tender opportunities

Across multiple sites in London (six centres including TBG's 'flagship' Centre in Lambeth), Kent (two centres) and Swindon, I held responsibility for the delivery of Foundation Learning (16-19 'NEET's) and various 'adult' Welfare to Work contracts, including the Work Programme in Swindon.

Responsible for the operational mobilisation and delivery of the successful 'JobFit' contract across eleven locations in Ireland. Through a management structure at area and local level, 'JobFit' secured employment for over 600 participants and FETAC qualifications for over 1500 participants, during the contract duration of a year, following the award from the Department of Education and Skills of Labour Market Activation Funds.In South East England, six locations in Kent successfully delivered both adult employability and 16-19 yr old Foundation Learning contracts

National accountability for various teams delivering LSC / DWP / JCP contracts to support former offenders back into sustained employment. Reporting to the Divisional CEO, my responsibilities included the management of a team delivering education and skills in HMP Haverigg (Cumbria)

Responsibility for the operational management of eleven [LSC] Apprenticeship contracts across the East of England, London and the South East, East and West Midlands. Led on a Divisional transformation project which resulted in direct management of sales, assessor and administration functions in all locations. My experience during this time also included production of the annual Self-Assessment reports for the business.

My early management / people management skills were honed working for some of the high streets largest retailers, predominantly in central London. These roles varied from Department management to General Store and Area / Multi-site management, with the usual operational and P&L accountability.My successes included several management awards related to performance at store and individual level.The complexities of these positions, many in 'flagship' stores, required the need for a strong focus on stock management and close working relationships with head office / buying department personnel.
