I was Site Safety at Duke site that was dealing in coal ash.My job was to ensure everyone was working in a safe environment and working safely,following all safety protocol.I had to give a pre job brief,JHA,daily Duke safety message and a post job brief at the end of the day.I had to send forms that were signed at meetings to supervisors at end of every day.I also worked at Sutton plant in Wilmington,NC ,and Asheville plant also.

My responsibilities were to come in early and QC instruments so they are ready to be used for the day.I also frisked materials with a pancake and used a 2360 to do statics with and without shield,i also used 2929 to count smears.

I was responsible for making sure that people were wearing proper ppe and following safe work practices.I also was confined safety rescue,had to be outside of confined space,in case of a accident or emergency.

I operated manlift,forklift and oversized forklift,also flatbed truck. I also operated Kalmar forklift.

I drove forklift, and flatbed truck to get material inside plant and also at areas where scaffolds were to be erected.I dressed out to enter/work in contaminated areas.I also was lead when my supervisor was off.

I was a waste technician,i dressed out every day and was working in a glove box remediating waste.We were working with drums that had been buried years ago and were remediating them,using supplied air with 50-75 foot air lines.

I took surveys,also did final status surveys and took smears and counted them on a 2929.I also did remediation work.The work consists of going in a room,lab,etc,and stripping everything and surveying it and the whole room also.

My responsibilities were to dress out in bubble hood and remediate lab completely.I had to jackhammer floor and also use scale gun.
