Current• Plan and execute hot-fire test operations prioritizing personnel safety and facility integrity aimed at achieving test objectives.• Collaborate with propulsion engineers on instrumentation selection, test planning, test execution, real-time data analysis, and engine performance troubleshooting. • Test facility design from requirements definition to schematic layouts, system HAZOPs, component selection, procedure development, commissioning, daily operation, troubleshooting… Show more • Plan and execute hot-fire test operations prioritizing personnel safety and facility integrity aimed at achieving test objectives.• Collaborate with propulsion engineers on instrumentation selection, test planning, test execution, real-time data analysis, and engine performance troubleshooting. • Test facility design from requirements definition to schematic layouts, system HAZOPs, component selection, procedure development, commissioning, daily operation, troubleshooting, decommissioning and decontamination.• Hypergolic propellant system design including propellant safety, material compatibility, cleanliness, propellant loading and unloading, and hazmat decontamination and disposal.• Extensive experience with propellant operations, handling, management and incidental cleanup in Level B PPE including SCBA operations.• Training and orientation of new employees including daily test operations, hazmat operations, safety and hazard assessments, documentation generation, and board style certification and checkouts. • Flow control component sizing and selection: process valves, regulators, pressure safety valves, filters, process piping, pressure vessels, etc.• Selection, integration and calibration of pressure transducers, thermocouples, flow meters, load cells and accelerometers.• Regulatory Compliance: ASME BPVC Sec.
