I was also heavily involved in the grade 690 welding trials and Contractor selection process for the construction of the JLS Beams project for which I later relocated to Italy to use as a base to set up the QC scope across 3 separate fabrication yards.Parallel to the investment projects I was also responsible for QC coordination of the construction and testing of a number of 14”, 18” and 20” PLETs with varying amounts of hubs and built over multiple fabrication yards. The project in question was that of the Leviathan Field Development for which the end client was Noble Energy.

During this time, I took the lead in the development and implementation of a new internal welding registration and traceability system which successfully targeted a reduction in double work and increased cost savings across the company.
