Provided cellular network operational support for AT&T global infrastructure.  Work on the Tier II Device Triage Team to include: Heavy troubleshooting of device related issues that are impacting the AT&T network related to LTE, VoLTE, 3G/UMTS and Wi-Fi. Utilize tools such as IRIS, Wireshark, TORCH, Quantum, RAN web, Telegence, XDMS, RMAP and QXDM to analyze the issue at hand and help to determine if it is related specifically to a device or the network.  Also worked on the Tier II End to End team to troubleshoot network issues (LTE, VoLTE, FirstNet, Wi-Fi, IoT) dealing with customer complaints or network outages that may not be device related. This was done using given tools to trace issue all the way through the network to determine if the issue is related to RAN, E-UTRAN, IMS, EPDG or another network element.  Collaborated with teams to determine issue origin bringing it to a resolution.

Managed the design, prototyping, and testing of products to ensure they met the guidelines for standards and functionality Checked devices into lab to ensure they met entrance requirements; assigning test plans to engineers in the lab/ Lead Engineer over the entire testing and certification process – running and updating all test plans as needed and worked directly with OEM’s to resolve issues. Utilized the QXDM tool to analyze device issues and report them on tracking forum and worked directly with the OEM’s on problem resolution. Oversaw and conducted testing on all maintenance releases for a given device being heavily involved in post launch issues, troubleshooting them with the appropriate teams to work towards a quick resolution.

Maintained, repaired, and installed components of cellular networks. Worked with the Network Operations team to sustain optimal performance of cell site equipment; troubleshot and repaired site outages, perform new site optimizations and turn up. Completed network projects such as Cell site Base Station Controller room additions and re-alignment of sites.

Designed and built out the wireless network working in the radio frequency spectrum. Conducted frequency planning for AMPS and CDMA networks, new site selection and design utilizing software tools such as Wizard and dB planner to optimize and expand the network. Studied traffic analysis to determine network quality; using capacity forecast models aiding in future channel, carrier and site expansions. Provided quarterly reports describing network updates and planned build outs of both coverage and capacity sites while working with Project Engineering on vendor selection for site equipment.
