Lucid Energy Group is a midstream oil and gas organization sponsored by EnCap Flatrock. It was established in 2012 and has operating assets in the Permian Basin of West Texas and Eastern New Mexico.At Lucid I designed and maintained a gas plant settlement software program that handled over 80 meters and over 10 producer contracts. When scale was big enough, I selected a vendor to migrate the settlement system to a database program. I designed an accounting plant intake and disposition balancing for settling over 150 MMBTU/day of production to facilitate plant settlement, and prepared metrics for operational review each month.I created the operational chart of accounts for internal and external reporting. As the transactions level grew I migrated the organization to OGSYS accounting system enabling more users to have better internal reporting and also to ensure accurate data. I needed to identify accounting organizational needs as we grew and appropriately hired staff to build the department over time. The skills that I searched for ranged from AP/AR clerks, reporting managers and revenue director level positions. There were four unique audit reports required each year end and I also managed federal and state tax reporting requirements based on sponsor deadlines.
