While speaking to our customers via phone/face-to-face video, investigates, determines coverage of loss, and adjusts all elements of routine Property Loss claims.Writes appraisals for dwelling repairs of routine claims based on information collected from customers and contractors. Issues payment to policyholders where possible, while using the latest technology in the industry. Explains coverage of loss, assists policyholders with itemization of damages, emergency repairs and additional living arrangements.Works with and may coordinate a number of vendor services such as contractors, emergency repair, cleaning services and various replacement services.Identifies suspicious losses. Recommends referrals to our Special Investigations Unit where appropriate, and may assist the Special Investigations Unit in their investigation and disposition of the claim.Demonstrated understanding of building construction principles. Knowledge of coverages provided within various homeowner policies.Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service experience.Effective negotiation skills.Ability to effectively and independently manage workload while exhibiting good judgment. Plans, directs and supervises team members in the day to day operations in the Grocery department. Implements strategies to improve customer service, drive store sales, and increase profitability. Ensures customer needs are met, complaints are resolved and service is quick and efficient. Maintains store appearance with a focus on prime shopping hours, product presentation and company standards. Provides support to team members during peak periods or when scheduling conflicts arise.
